New boys strut their stuff!

The Blues squad is back at training after the summer break – and there are some new faces at Cobham!
New signings Eden Hazard, Marko Marin and Kevin de Bruyne have all made their first appearance at our Surrey training base and joined up with other squad members as preparations begin for the start of the 2012/13 season.

However, players involved in Euro 2012 and the Olympics won’t go back to training with the club for some time yet. Di Matteo has targeted the end of this month, when he hopes to have the whole squad together.

For now, the focus is on the USA tour, which will see the Blues take on the Seattle Sounders on 18 July, before more fixtures on American soil against PSG, an MLS All-Stars team and AC Milan.

Then, back in the UK, there’s a friendly against Brighton before the Charity Shield encounter against Man City at Wembley on 12 August.

It could be our first piece of silverware this season!
