Gary Cahill's Super Blues Smoothie
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Serves: 2-3 people (or lots for just you!)
3tbsp low-fat natural yoghurt
1. Add all the ingredients to a blender or smoothie maker (ask an adult to set this up for you and be on hand to help).
2. Blend everything together on full power until you have a smooth, blended drink.
3. Pour into large glasses, add a straw and enjoy!
Stamford says: Fresh seasonal fruit tastes great, but you can also buy frozen blueberries, which taste just as good in a smoothie, cost less and are every bit as good for you!
The ingredients in this smoothie are all really good for you – blueberries contain vitamin C and E, the banana has lots of nutrients, honey is a natural energy food and oats will stop you from getting hungry again soon after eating!
