De Bruyne can't wait to get started
Kevin De Bruyne is enjoying pre-season training with his new teammates at Cobham. The Belgian international was signed by the Blues from Racing Genk in January, but loaned back to club for the rest of the 2011/12 season.
De Bruyne is 21 and seen as an exciting prospect for the Blues, who plays as an attacking midfielder or out wide. He scored eight goals in 22 appearances for Genk last season and now he's looking to make an impact for Chelsea on their US tour!
"I have spoken to Roberto Di Matteo a couple of times and now we go to America on Saturday which is very exciting," said De Bruyne. "I've been on tours but never anything so big to America, with Genk normally it was to Turkey or somewhere like that – you don't play in front of so many people. I never played in front of 60,000 people yet, but it doesn't worry me!"
