Spurs v Chelsea Preview

14/04/2012

The big games are coming thick and fast at the moment, and this one is huge – Spurs at Wembley for a place in the FA Cup final! It's sure to be an amazing atmosphere as these two London clubs battle it out to play the winner of the Merseyside derby in tomorrow's semi-final.

The teams have already met twice in the league this season with both games finishing in a draw. The first match in December was a 1-1 draw with Sturridge equalising after Adebayor had put Spurs in front. Then the teams fought out a 0-0 draw three weeks ago at the Bridge, so it's likely to be a close game on Sunday!

Since Wembley was rebuilt, the Blues have managed six wins and had just three losses while Spurs have won one and lost two of their games. More good news is that Didier Drogba has a cracking record at Wembley, having scored six times there in the past – let's hope that run continues on Sunday!

Roberto Di Matteo has a slight injury worry over Ashley Cole and Ivanovic is suspended for the game, but otherwise he has a strong squad to choose from.

Remember to check bridgekids on Monday for our full report on the game!
