Stat Attack: Chelsea's incredible season

31/05/2017

There's no denying that this was one of Chelsea's best Premier League seasons ever.

This isn't the first time that the Blues have won the trophy (in fact, it's the second time in three years), but the way they stormed to the title, breaking records along the way, makes it even more incredible.

Here are just a few of the incredible statistics from Chelsea's title-winning Premier League season.

Did you know? Antonio Conte's Chelsea won 30 of their 38 matches! That's the most wins ever in a Premier League season by one team!

13 of those wins came in an unbelievable run in the middle of the season, when Chelsea equalled the record for consecutive victories in a Premier League season.

Did you know? Chelsea finished the season with 93 points, only two off the record of 95!

Jose Mourinho's 2004/05 Chelsea side holds the record for points, which will be tough to beat!

Did you know? Chelsea now have five Premier League titles, putting them at second in the all-time rankings!

Football is a team game, and the whole Chelsea squad was fantastic this season!

N'Golo Kante won the PFA Player of the Year, the FWA Footballer of the Year and Premier League Player of the Season awards, while Eden Hazard was voted Chelsea's player of the year by the fans.

They were joined by Gary Cahill and David Luiz in The PFA Team of the Year.

Cahill and David Luiz, however, will be among the first to admit that the star of Chelsea's three-man defence was arguably Cesar Azpilicueta, who played in every league match for Chelsea this season.

In goal, meanwhile, Thibaut Courtois won the Premier League Golden Glove for keeping the most clean sheets.

Did you know? Antonio Conte was the only manager to make three substitutions in every match this season!

The Blues boss showed his managerial genius this season, making brilliant changes at key moments.

Conte deservedly won the Premier League Manager of the Season award in his first season in English football.

Chelsea now have the summer to celebrate a brilliant season, and prepare for the next one!
