John Terry and Chelsea Football Club have announced that the legendary Blues captain will be leaving Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

So we thought it would be the perfect time to look back at his amazing career in a Blue shirt.

The big central defender joined the Chelsea Academy 22 years ago as a junior, and made his debut in 1998 for the club.

Since then, he has scored 66 goals for the Blues in competitive matches.

Did you know? JT is the Premier League's highest ever scoring defender with 40 goals!

JT has been a leader on and off the field, helping his side to 16 trophies during his time as captain.

As Chelsea's skipper, Terry has lifted a Champions League trophy, a UEFA Europa League trophy, four Premier League trophies, five FA Cup trophies, three League Cup trophies and two Community Shields!

Did you know? JT has been Chelsea's captain 578 times! That's more than anyone else in history!

During his time as a Blues player, he has won Chelsea Player of the Year twice, the PFA Player of the Year award once, UEFA’s most valuable defender award three times, and was even Chelsea Young Player of the Year in his first season!

He has also been named in the Named in FIFA/FIFPro World Team of the Year three times!
