FA Cup Preview

Tomorrow is the biggest showpiece occasion in the English football calendar as Chelsea take on Liverpool in the FA Cup final. Both teams have a great history in the competition and will be desperate to send their fans home celebrating a famous win!

Incredibly, this is Chelsea's fourth FA Cup final in six years and they've won the previous three! The Blues' record against Liverpool is also good, having won five of their nine FA Cup ties against the Reds.

In total, Liverpool have won the cup seven times, which is a record Chelsea can equal if they get the better of Kenny Dalgish's side tomorrow. Further good news for the Blues is that Roberto Di Matteo has a great record in the FA Cup himself having won it in 1997 and 2000, and scoring in both games – let's hope his love of the stadium continues with this final!

Di Matteo rested several players on Wednesday night, so it's likely that Drogba, Mata, Cole and Lampard will all return to the first team. Luiz and Cahill are still out with injury, but JT and Ivanovic are available to slot into the centre of defence.

Remember to check bridgekids next week for our full report on the game – come on you Blues!
