Chelsea host Crystal Palace

Chelsea host Crystal Palace on Saturday for what’s sure to be an exciting game at Stamford Bridge!

The Blues currently sit at fifth in the Premier League table, with Crystal Palace sitting at 18th.

Even though Palace sit towards the bottom of the table, they could prove to be a surprisingly tough opponent, as they narrowly defeated the Blues when they last played each other.

That match was in October last year, when the Blues were really unlucky to not get a point at Selhurst Park.

But as Saturday’s game is at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea have a great advantage. We’ve won nine games in the last ten at home!

If the Blues can seal the three points by beating Palace, we’ll be in a great place to get back into the top four.

Palace come off the back of a loss against Manchester United on Monday, and have quite a few injuries. The biggest threat from them is striker Benteke, who’s likely to start.

Antonio Conte will be hoping that N’Golo Kante and Ross Barkley are available after recent injuries. However, Ethan Ampadu, Tiemoue Bakayoko and David Luiz are still all out injured.

The Blue’s attacking strength is looking healthy though, with Hazard, Willian and Morata all likely to start. Which is a scary prospect for any visiting team!

With Palace needing to avoid relegation and Chelsea wanting to crack back into the top four, it’s a massive game for both teams.

Kick-off is at 5:30pm. Check out BridgeKids on Sunday for a full match report!
