Goals for Diego Costa and Traore

Diego Costa scored for Spain in a 2-1 over Macedonia on Sunday, keeping them on course for the 2018 World Cup.

The 2010 World Cup champions drew 2-2 in a friendly game against Columbia last week, fielding a team that included Cesar Azpilicueta and Pedro.

Bertrand Traore was also on target in the week's matches, getting the third goal in Burkina Faso's 3-1 win over Angola in a qualifier for the next Africa Cup of Nations.

Back in Europe, Gary Cahill played in England's 2-2 draw against Scotland in their World Cup qualifier, which keeps them top of their group.

Nemanja Matic, meanwhile, started in Serbia's 1-1 draw with Wales.

Thibaut Courtois and Michy Batshuayi both played in Belgium's 2-0 qualifier win over Estonia, while Nathan Ake made his competitive debut for the Netherlands as they thrashed Luxembourg 5-0.

Willian had less luck with Brazil, who were narrowly beaten in a showcase match with Argentina. David Luiz was named on the bench.

There are plenty more international matches over the next week, and loads will feature Chelsea stars, so keep an eye on BridgeKids for the highlights!
