Blues take on Foxes in Saturday match

After three draws in three matches in three different competitions, Chelsea return to Premier League action on Saturday looking to take all three points against Leicester City.

The Foxes travel to Stamford Bridge, a stadium where they haven't won a match since 2000!

Since then, the Blues have beaten Leicester both home and away in 12 of the 14 matches between the two sides!

Last season, Chelsea won both matches 3-0, opening the scoring on each occasion in the first ten minutes.

In this season's reverse fixture, meanwhile, goals either side of half-time from Alvaro Morata and N'Golo Kante, against his former club, helped the Blues to a 2-1 win.

Kante, last season's PFA Players' Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year, joined Chelsea after Leicester City’s famous title 2015-16 Premier League title win, and then won the title again a year later with the Blues!

He became the second player to win two Premier League titles in a row with two different clubs since fellow Frenchman Eric Cantona managed it in the 1991-92 and 1992-93 seasons, with Leeds United and Manchester United.

He's not the only former Leicester player at Chelsea any more, though. Danny Drinkwater joined in the summer transfer window, and has already scored his first goal for the Blues!

Both players featured in Chelsea's tight draw with Arsenal on Wednesday night, so Conte may well rest them against Leicester City.

Thankfully, the Italian manager has almost all his players fit and ready to start. New signing Ross Barkley is the only squad member who is still recovering from an injury.

The match kicks off at 3pm on Saturday. Check out BridgeKids soon after for a full match preview!
