Blues host Forest in FA Cup

04/01/2019

Chelsea face Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, a competition they won last season!

It's the first time the two sides have faced each other in the third round, but Chelsea have beaten Forest in all three of their previous FA Cup meetings.

However, the Championship side still pose a threat, and managed to beat Arsenal at this stage last season, even though the Gunners were the holders of the trophy at that point.

The Blues go into the match in good form. Even though Southampton managed to hold them to a 0-0 draw during the week, Chelsea are still in the top four in the Premier League.

However, Maurizio Sarri has some tough choices to make, with a few of his attacking players out injured, including Olivier Giroud, Pedro and Willian.

Forest, meanwhile, managed a shock win over Championship leaders Leeds United in their last match, after a red card saw Leeds go down to ten men.

The Blues won the FA Cup last season, beating Manchester United in the final thanks to an Eden Hazard penalty.

Will Hazard be the difference again? Find out on Saturday afternoon, as the match kicks off at 3pm!
