Chelsea travel east for London derby

Chelsea's stars return to Premier League action on Saturday for a trip to strugglers Crystal Palace.

The Blues lost a tough home tie to league leaders Manchester City in September, before going on their international break, but four wins in the five games before that put them well in contention.

Palace, on the other hand, are rock bottom with no points, having lost all seven games so far. The Eagles have also failed to score a goal.

The game will be made even more difficult for Palace, as Blues loanee Ruben Loftus-Cheek will be unavailable. The Chelsea Academy product has arguably been Palace's best player so far this season.

However, Chelsea players will remember April's match, when the Eagles had a surprise win against the soon-to-be champions.

Antonio Conte will be intent on not letting the same thing happen again, and is likely to play a strong side, full of players buoyed by recent international success.

Chelsea's players from Spain, France, Belgium, Nigeria, Brazil, Portugal, England and Germany have all qualified. In fact, Conte could side a starting 11 just using players from these countries.

Thibaut Courtois in goal, with Cesar Azpilicueta, Gary Cahill and Antonio Rudiger in front. Marcos Alonso and Victor Moses on the wings, Cesc Fabregas and Tiemoue Bakayoko in the middle (Kante is injured). Morata up front, supported by Willian and Hazard.

A number of these players didn't feature in the qualifiers, of course, but they are very likely to if there great Chelsea performances continue.

Add Denmark and Italy, who could still qualify, and you also make up the bench with players who could also feature in the World Cup next year: Eduardo, Davide Zappacosta, Andreas Christensen, David Luiz, Pedro, Kenedy and Charly Musonda.

Chelsea take on Crystal Palace at 3pm on Saturday. Check out BridgeKids shortly after for a full match report.
