Stat Attack: Chelsea's FA Cup finals

Chelsea face Arsenal in the last match of the 2016/17 English season on Saturday, hoping to win their eighth FA Cup!

Only four sides have won more FA Cup trophies than Chelsea, and their opponents on Saturday are one of them.

Arsenal are joint-top of the table, alongside Manchester United, with 12 FA Cup trophies.

Whoever wins on Saturday, the two sides will have 20 FA Cups between them after the match!

But here's why it could be the Blues!

Did you know? The last time the two sides met in the FA Cup, in 2008/09, the Blues won 2-1!

It was the semi-final of that year's competition, so the win took Chelsea through to the final to face Everton.

The Blues beat Everton 2-1, and then went on to hold onto the FA Cup the season after by beating Portsmouth 1-0!

Did you know? Chelsea won the first ever FA Cup match between the two sides 1-0!

The Blues beat Arsenal when they faced each other in the FA Cup Round 2 in 1915. Harold James Halse scored the only goal.

The Blues made the final for the first time ever that season, but were unable to triumph against Sheffield United.

Did you know? Between them, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool have won the cup 22 times in the last 27 seasons!

The big English clubs have dominated the competition. Chelsea have won four of the last ten finals themselves!

This will be the 11th final played at the new Wembley, where the Blues have had great success. They won the first FA Cup final there in 2006/07, beating Manchester United 1-0.

In fact, the Blues have won every FA Cup final they have played at the new Wembley!

Will Chelsea make it five new Wembley wins in 11 matches? Watch the match on Saturday to find out!
