Chelsea travel to Watford looking for win

Chelsea travel a few miles north of London on Monday evening to take on Watford.

The Blues suffered a shock midweek loss to Bournemouth on Wednesday, but will be aiming to bounce back against the Hornets.

Despite losing last week, Antonio Conte's side still sit in the top four, while their opponents are in 11th spot.

Watford are without a league win in six matches, a run that stretches back to Boxing Day.

Their unsuccessful streak against Chelsea stretches back much further.

Chelsea haven't lost to the Hornets since 1999. In that time, they have won ten and drawn three against Watford.

The last three league games between the two sides ended in the Blues' favour. Chelsea have already beaten Watford 4-2 this season, thanks to a brace from Michy Batshuayi and goals from Pedro and Cesar Azpilicueta.

Last season, Chelsea managed the double against the Hornets, winning 2-1 away. Will they do the same on Monday evening?

It took two late goals, from Batshuayi and Diego Costa, for Chelsea to take the points in that match.

Without Batshuayi, who left on loan to Borussia Dortmund on transfer deadline day, Conte could turn to either Alvaro Morata or new signing Olivier Giroud to lead the line.

Morata is recovering from injury, so it could be the first time Chelsea fans get to see Giroud in the famous blue shirt. Talking about Giroud in blue, BridgeKids members can enter the latest competition now to be in with the chance to win a Chelsea shirt signed by the French striker HERE!

The other late winter signing, Emerson Palmieri, could also make an appearance!

The match kicks off on Monday at 8pm UK time. If you can't stay up that long, don't worry, there'll be a BridgeKids match report going up on Tuesday morning!
