Wolves 2-1 Chelsea

Chelsea couldn't make the most of their first-half performance last night, as they were beaten 2-1 by a spirited Wolves side.

Manager Maurizio Sarri made a number of changes from the weekend win over Fulham, handing Ruben Loftus-Cheek a start alongside Cesc Fabregas in midfield, while Andreas Christensen was named in defence

The Blues had the best of the early chances, and went ahead after 18 minutes when Loftus-Cheek, who has been scoring for fun recently, saw his deflected strike beat the goalkeeper.

Willian then hit the bar from a free-kick, after Wolves 'keeper Rui Patricio made an impressive save.

However, two quickfire goals in the second half put the Wanderers in the driving seat. They were the only two shots Wolves had on target for the whole match!

The Blues, who are still in the Champions League places, now turn their attention to Saturday's match against league leaders Manchester City. Keep an eye on BridgeKids for a preview!
